We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Annual Meeting of the International Fetal Medicine and Surgery Society on August 2-7, 2016, at the Cresta Mowana Hotel, Kasane.

Location

The meeting will be held in Kasane in northern Botswana, at the Cresta Mowana Safari Resort and Spa, located at the edge of the Chobe River, adjacent to the Chobe Games Reserve. The resort itself has been host to presidents and dignitaries from around the world.

The Chobe National Park is over 10,000 km2 in area, and home to some 45,000 elephants as well as giraffes, lions, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, antelopes and over 450 bird species. Delegates and guests will have the opportunity to take advantage of themany natural and cultural resources in the area.


Early registration is open. Accommodations are extremely limited in Kasane. An additional locale has been secured for large family groups and overflow rooms, but these too are limited. We urge you to register at your earliest convenience.

February 1 Abstract deadline for Young Investigator Travel Award.

February 18 Young Investigator Travel Award notifications.

March 15 Early registration closes, or sooner, if space limit is reached.

June 1 Deadline for general abstracts. Registration closes, or sooner, if space limit is reached.

August 2 Annual meeting starts, late afternoon/evening.

August 7 Annual meeting ends, morning.
